Our mission is to provide a safe, relaxing, fun-filled, and educational dental experience. We hope to instill important values, from simple tooth anatomy, to learning how to regain control over your oral health. We take pride in our standard of care and the personal attention given to each patient.
Meet the team
Dr. Radovan Rudik was born in Slovakia and grew up in Mississauga ON. He completed a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honors degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then pursued his dental education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. His most memorable experience was providing dental care to orphans in the Eastern European country of Moldova. While in dental school, Dr. Rudik also represented the UNC Tar Heels as a defenseman on the NCAA Division 2 ice hockey team. Following graduation, Dr. Rudik returned to UNC to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. He has successfully passed both American and Canadian National Dental Boards. In his spare time, when he is not fishing, Dr. Rudik keeps his hands busy with home improvement and landscaping projects.

Dr. Amy Cao graduated from the University of Sydney Faculty of Dentistry in Australia, earning the Rudolf Gunz Medal award in her final year for proficiency in all aspects of knowledge and clinical work. She also completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario with an honours double major in Biology and Medical Sciences. Dr. Cao is committed to providing patient-centered care and believes that creating a friendly and comfortable environment is just as important as delivering exceptional dental services for each and every patient.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and being a foodie - she is always in search of new food to try and a good cup of coffee!

Dr. Vanesa Tomic graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry earning a spot on the Dean’s list of top ten students based on academic achievement. Her background is a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Waterloo. She is committed to providing you with the best oral care. Her primary goal as a dentist is to ensure your oral health and comfort, using her knowledge and expertise to create beautiful smiles while prioritizing your well-being. Outside the dental clinic, she enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family. She looks forward to not only helping you achieve a healthy smile but also getting to know you beyond the dental chair.

Dr. Fortino graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then went to the Centre for Advanced Dental Education in St Louis, Missouri to obtain his specialty degree in Periodontics and a Masters in Science. After his speciality, he pursed a fellowship in Advanced Surgical and Restorative Oral Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY-Buffalo). He joined the Department of Periodontics and Implant Center at SUNY-Buffalo as part-time faculty member. He holds diplomate status in both the USA and Canada. He loves the sport of hockey and is the proud brother of Gold and Silver Medalist Laura Fortino who is playing for the Team Canada Womens Hockey National Team!

Elyse
Elyse is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Primary Health Care and Medical Aesthetics. In addition to owning and operating Brain & Body Co., she also practices part-time in Family Medicine. Elyse's initial degree was from The University of Guelph, where she received extensive education in human anatomy and pathophysiology in the Human Kinetics program; simultaneously, via the Sociology program, she developed an advanced understanding of social life, change, and human interaction. This university education equipped her with the knowledge needed to successfully enter and complete the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at The University of Toronto. Upon completion, she obtained several years of valuable career experience working as a Registered Nurse in Toronto, Ontario. Elyse eventually returned to the University of Toronto to complete the Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner program in 2019. As an NP in family medicine, she quickly became frustrated with the lack of mental health support/resources. Elyse recognized that to feel better mentally, the brain and body needed to be addressed in unison. Maya graduated from Southern Ontario Dental College in Ancaster, Ontario with a diploma in Dental Hygiene. She was introduced to the dental field by her mom who was a dental assistant. Maya fell in love with the idea of helping others improve their oral health and making them love their smile. Maya enjoys staying active by going to the gym , kayaking, skiing in the winter and going on walks with her dog named Myka.

Moose Lake Dental is a proud donor to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph. The Big Brothers mentoring program provides boys/girls and young men/women with a role model to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed between the mentor and the mentee, which is built on trust and common interests, and is supported by our experienced case-workers. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee
